The Marijuana Justice Coalition

The Marijuana Justice Coalition, a group of 15 non-profit and advocacy organizations committed to a set of Principles on Federal Marijuana Reform and chaired by the Drug Policy Alliance, is working to end federal cannabis prohibition. The Veterans Cannabis Coalition has joined this national effort in support of cannabis descheduling, decriminalization, and restoration of the people and communities harmed by the state through advocating in support of the MORE Act.

Marijuana Justice Week, August 10-14, 2020

It is time for Congress to prioritize ending the harmful era of federal cannabis prohibition in the United States. Demand that Congressional leadership bring Marijuana, Opportunity, Reinvestment & Expungement (MORE) Act (H.R. 3884) to the floor for a vote this September. This Congress, the House voted and passed a bill that would allow for banks to work with legal marijuana companies. That vote benefits the marijuana industry, but leaves communities most harmed by marijuana criminalization behind.

Members of the Marijuana Justice Coalition have created calls-to-action allowing you to send emails and tweets to your members of Congress in support of the MORE Act. Please consider sending messages from across the Coalition.
